Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra is the Chief Executive Director of VRM Molecular & Nuclear Medicine Pvt. Ltd. and a globally recognized leader in molecular imaging and radiopharmaceutical sciences with over 37 years of experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University and has conducted advanced research at prestigious institutions in France, Germany, and the USA.

Formerly the Director of INMAS, DRDO (Delhi), Dr. Mishra spearheaded India’s strategic initiatives in cyclotron and radiopharmaceutical sciences, leading the indigenous development of PET and SPECT radiotracers. He pioneered one of India’s earliest structured academia–industry collaborations with Dabur Research Foundation, establishing a sustainable translational research model.

A recipient of numerous national and international honors, including the DRDO Young Scientist Award (1999) presented by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Dr. Mishra has led major projects funded by DRDO, DST, DBT, IAEA, and international programs. His scholarly contributions include 295+ publications, 7,000+ citations, and multiple global patents.
